On 12 May 2026, TESTAR proudly celebrated its Grand Opening Day at SBIC, NL Space Campus in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, marking an important milestone in the development of advanced antenna measurement and RF testing capabilities for the European space and high-tech ecosystem.

The event officially inaugurated TESTAR’s new Compact Range Test Chamber, developed in collaboration with Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. (ASYSOL), and welcomed more than 80 guests from across the space and technology sectors. Attendees included representatives from the European Space Agency (ESA), space companies, startups, research organisations, innovation partners, and professionals from other high-tech industries.

Guided Tours Across the Campus

Throughout the afternoon, attendees participated in guided tours across three innovative locations across the campus ecosystem, including TESTAR’s Compact Range Test Chamber, CometLab, and Stellar Space Industries. The guided tours and presentations provided valuable insights into ongoing activities, technological developments, and future collaboration opportunities within the European space ecosystem.

Collaboration with ASYSOL

TESTAR’s Compact Range Test Chamber was developed in collaboration with Antenna Systems Solutions S.L. (ASYSOL), a European company specialised in antenna measurement systems, RF testing solutions, and anechoic chamber technologies.

The facility combines TESTAR’s operational capabilities with ASYSOL’s expertise in antenna metrology and compact range systems, creating a new testing infrastructure within the NL Space Campus ecosystem.

Now that the Compact Range Test Chamber has officially been inaugurated, antenna measurement services offered through TESTAR will be carried out exclusively by ASYSOL’s specialised RF and antenna measurement engineers. When customers require antenna testing services at the facility, ASYSOL’s experts will operate the Compact Range Test Chamber and conduct the corresponding measurement activities on behalf of TESTAR.

The inauguration of the facility represents an important step towards expanding access to advanced antenna measurement and RF testing services for companies, startups, research organisations, and innovation projects working across the space and high-tech sectors.

A Successful Day for the Space Ecosystem

The day concluded with a networking reception at SBIC, where guests enjoyed Spanish food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere designed to encourage conversation, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections across the community.

TESTAR would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to making the Grand Opening Day such a positive and memorable occasion. The event was made possible thanks to the collaboration and support of multiple organizations and partners, including Antenna Systems Solutions (ASYSOL), NL Space Campus, Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk (SBIC), Stellar Space Industries, CometLab, and Provincie Zuid-Holland.

As a non-profit foundation dedicated to advancing antenna measurement technologies and fostering collaboration within the international antenna community, TESTAR sees this inauguration as the beginning of a new chapter focused on innovation, partnerships, and knowledge exchange through the activities of its Compact Range Test Chamber at NL Space Campus.
