Who we are

𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥 is a non-profit foundation dedicated to advancing antenna measurement technologies and fostering collaboration within the international antenna community.

Our mission is to manage and operate our Compact Range Test Chamber at SBIC (Space Business Innovation Centre, Noordwijk, Netherlands), while driving innovation through research, development, and partnerships.

Management, procurement, operation, and exploitation of the Compact Range Test Chamber (SBIC) and R&D projects.
Marketing, communication, and dissemination of the facility, its services, and research results.
Performing R&D activities independently or in collaboration with companies and research centres.
Providing an open space for development, training, meetings, and demonstrations for the antenna measurement community.
Continuously upgrading the Compact Range Test Chamber and developing new services and solutions.

Services

TESTAR provides professional antenna measurement services using its Compact Range Test Chamber at SBIC (Noordwijk), within the NL Space Campus. This containerized outdoor facility (anechoic chamber) delivers fast, repeatable RF characterization—supporting measurements of antenna gain, radiation patterns (coand cross-polar), polarization, and other key parameters in a controlled anechoic environment, with simpler access and logistics than traditional indoor facilities.

TESTAR operates the facility in collaboration with ASYSOL (Antenna Systems Solutions). ASYSOL’s experienced RF engineers conduct test planning, set-up, and measurement execution on the Compact Range, providing traceable results and clear reporting. Typical outputs include calibrated gain, 2D/3D radiation patterns, polarization metrics, and measurement-uncertainty documentation, delivered as customer-ready reports and data files. Where applicable, measurements are performed in line with customer requirements and relevant industry practices/standards
